A new restaurant that will riff on classic steakhouse offerings as well as premium grade sushi and a daily seafood selection is coming to Toronto’s fabled Union Station, located at Bay and Front Streets, in the heart of downtown.
VineRoutes has recently learned that Liberty Entertainment Group will be behind the project, which plans to open in 2023, and that a name has been chosen for the coveted spot. It will be called Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House.
Sexy and modern in design, the large, windowed venue will juxtapose the iconic history of the original train station heritage building with a fresh contemporary feel as envisioned by Liberty Group’s international award-winning VP and creative director, Nadia Di Donato. The buzzy restaurant will accommodate dining and premium bar service, as well as offer private dining spaces for special events. No details yet on capacity limits. Both lunch and dinner service will be offered seven days a week.
Fresh seafood will be on the menu daily.
