At the heart of FK are husband-and-wife team Chef/Owner Frank Parhizgar and Owner/Operator Shawn Cooper, whose partnership in both life and business defines the restaurant’s spirit.

Frank, a rare talent who combines the expertise of both chef and sommelier, has received numerous accolades, including a recent gold medal at a prestigious culinary competition where he went on to represent Toronto at the national level. Inducted into the culinary hall of fame and now serving at the judge’s table, Frank brings unmatched depth of knowledge, passion, and artistry to FK’s ingredient-driven menu.

Shawn, a seasoned hospitality professional with a lifelong dedication to restaurants, designed and built FK from the ground up. She oversees operations with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that service remains as warm, polished, and thoughtful as the cuisine itself.

FK’s commitment to excellence has been recognized year after year with prestigious honours, including being named a Michelin Recommended restaurant, and named as a VineRoutes Top 25 Restaurant in Ontario in 2022.
