Foundry Tavern is a luxurious upscale tavern. Designed with a nod to mid-century design, it’s casual and sophisticated with a playful vibe all at the same time. With caramel leather banquettes, aged brass fixtures, a wall lined with wine, artwork of the building’s history and a striking theatre style lit logo on the ceiling, the restaurant has a youthful, chic energy that just feels good.
It’s located inside the much anticipated, and still under construction, Gaslight District in Galt, Cambridge. This historical neighbourhood has been masterfully designed around the original old stone buildings that were first used as a machinery factory in 1859.

With a food and drink menu the local community has given rave reviews to, Foundry Tavern offers lunch, dinner and recently launched their brunch menu which we were thrilled to check out. Advertised as the Funky Brunch with a live DJ, cocktails and delicious food, opening day was a fun, lively atmosphere full of laughter and good energy.
Bruch patrons enjoyed the grazing area that offered olives, meats, cheese, freshly baked pastries and breads, eggs benedict, hummus, a delicious assortment of cocktails including Hard water Mimosas, Caesars, the Award-Winning Foundry Beer Flight and more and custom menu items like Shakshouka, Nashville Hot Chicken and Lorne Sausage and Hash.
